The Tagliatela College of Engineering has always encouraged interdisciplinary studies. To foster a broader expertise in the areas of business administration and industrial engineering, a student can earn degrees in both fields by successfully completing the dual degree program.

To address the growing demand and need for business acumen along with engineering and technical expertise in industry, the University of New Haven created the M.B.A./M.S.I.E. dual degree program. Offering 69 credits of coursework with the potential to waive up to nine credits, the program draws from 33 foundational credits in business areas like management, finance, and accounting along with 36 credits in industrial engineering topics such as operations research, quality analysis, and system simulation. Students joining the program are expected to have an undergraduate engineering or technical degree from an ABET-accredited program. Students complete separate M.B.A. and industrial engineering research projects. These projects are the culmination of the learning that took place during the coursework and are chosen with the help of program advisors. Many past research projects were based on local industry needs.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or from a foreign institution that is recognized by its jurisdictional Ministry of Education for granting baccalaureate degrees. Generally, a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (where A is 4.0), based on all undergraduate courses taken at an accredited college or university, is expected though consideration will be given to prior graduate study and to supplementary professional experience. English Language Requirements: The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination with a minimum score of 80 on the Internet-based test (IBT), The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.5 is also acceptable. The Pearson Test of English (PTE) with a minimum score of 53 is acceptable.
