At the University of New Haven, we know what it takes to succeed as an investigator. And we’re excited to offer you a fully online 1-year, 10 course Master of Science in Investigations. As the first degree of its kind in the nation, our **** online master’s degree will help you deepen your understanding of the field of investigations while pursuing a concentration in:

• Criminal Investigations
• Financial Crimes Investigations
• Digital Forensics Investigations

Select a concentration that makes sense for you

Investigations is a broad topic area. To get the most from your master’s degree, we recommend you choose one of the three concentrations offered by the University of New Haven:

Criminal Investigations: For those in law enforcement, this concentration will prepare you to help solve crimes and to be a greater asset to your law enforcement team.

Financial Crimes: The Financial Crimes Investigation concentration examines a broad spectrum of financial crimes. This concentration prepares you to tackle cybercrime, financial fraud, international crime, healthcare fraud, and organized crime to name a few. This concentration can be further customized to focus on the private sector or public sector investigation, depending on your career interest.

Digital Forensics: Our focus on digital and cybercrime will teach you how to protect an organization’s digital presence and to investigate crimes perpetrated via technological means. This concentration is perfect for those in law enforcement as well as the private sector.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or from a foreign institution that is recognized by its jurisdictional Ministry of Education for granting baccalaureate degrees. Generally, a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (where A is 4.0), based on all undergraduate courses taken at an accredited college or university, is expected though consideration will be given to prior graduate study and to supplementary professional experience. English Language Requirements: The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination with a minimum score of 80 on the Internet-based test (IBT), The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.5 is also acceptable. The Pearson Test of English (PTE) with a minimum score of 53 is acceptable.
