The University of New Haven offers a master degree program in engineering and operations management which seamlessly bridges theory with hands-on application that allows graduates to be not only productive, but leaders in their chosen industry.

With a strong emphasis on project-based learning, this unique program was developed for students aspiring for professional growth in managing operations and organizations in the global market by creating a unique blend of state-of-the-art engineering methodologies with key components of business-related topics including finance, marketing, and management theory.

Especially valuable to professional individuals with a number of years of experience in industry and entrepreneurs, applicants are required to hold a four-year baccalaureate degree in engineering or a related field.

Program highlights include:

• Advanced education in the use of scarce resources, managing workforce teams, establishing effective supply chains, assuring high-quality products and services, establishing customer relationships, and planning successful organizational operations
• Business basics such as finance, marketing, and organizational change and development topics
• An accelerated M.S. in Engineering and Operations Management Cohort Program for working professionals with courses in the following formats: (1) meeting one afternoon per week in West Haven and New London, (2) are online, or (3) are hybrid (partially online)
• Exceptional teaching faculty with industry experience

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or from a foreign institution that is recognized by its jurisdictional Ministry of Education for granting baccalaureate degrees. Generally, a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (where A is 4.0), based on all undergraduate courses taken at an accredited college or university, is expected though consideration will be given to prior graduate study and to supplementary professional experience. English Language Requirements: The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination with a minimum score of 80 on the Internet-based test (IBT), The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.5 is also acceptable. The Pearson Test of English (PTE) with a minimum score of 53 is acceptable.
