专业概况

在这里学什么？

This MSc programme addresses the demands on professionals of information systems and technologies, with hands-on experience on relevant practical applications, tools and software. It is positioned as the front-line educational programme of practical technologies in Advanced Information Systems (AIS), targeting postgraduate-level students in Hong Kong and Mainland China, as well as the overseas. It is unique and timely in the following ways.

• It emphasizes on technologies, i.e., applications, tools and software, in the field of Information Systems (IS).
• Its curriculum is specially designed for equipping students with practical skills and enhancing their immediate competitiveness in a career related to emerging areas of Information Systems, e.g., Enterprise Information Systems, Financial Information Systems and Health Information Systems.
• Its curriculum provides students with solid technological background and expertise for meeting market demands where the course contents can be directly mapped between the skills learned and requirements of related jobs in local and regional areas.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants should normally hold a Bachelor's degree for admission to a Taught Postgraduate degree programme; English Language Requirements: TOEFL - 550 (Paper-based), 79 (Internet-based); or IELTS (Academic): Overall Band at 6.5; or CET-6 (College English Test band 6): 450.
