很多同学都认为，English12课程学起来比较吃力，这门课程的难点在哪?

The course builds on the previous English courses, but the texts and writing assignments are much more challenging. This is because the course is designed to prepare students for first year university English courses. Students may struggle with advanced vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and grammar. Likewise, students are required to write a very demanding, three-hour provincial exam at the end of the course.

这门课程以所学的英语课程为基础，但课文和写作更具挑战性。这是因为这门课程是为衔接大学一年级的英语课程而设计的。学生可能在高级词汇、阅读理解、写作和语法方面遇到困难。同时，这门课程的考试难度也比较高。

您会用怎样的上课和作业形式，帮助学生更好地学习这门课程?

Class time is split between a variety of projects, used to build general English skills, and reading and writing geared to prepare students for the exam. On the exam, students write a response paragraph, a narrative essay, and a synthesis essay, so lots of class time is dedicated to practicing these three writing forms. It is imperative that students listen to feedback and learn from their mistakes in order to improve. In many ways, the preparation for this course begins in grade 10. Students who make a concerted effort to read, write, and speak English on their own time, over the entirety of their time at Sino, vastly improve their chances of success.

课堂时间分为不同的项目，用来培养学生的英语技能、提升阅读和写作的能力。在考试中，学生要写一篇回应短文、一篇叙事性短文和一篇综合性短文，所以很多课堂时间都用来练习这三种写作形式，通过不断练习，从而取得进步。总得来说，这门课程需要从10年级就开始做准备，要求学生自己花时间提升阅读、写作和说英语的能力，这样就大大提升了在这门课程上取得成功的机会。
