The Electrical Engineering Masters Program at USC is one of the largest in the country. As technology advances at an unprecedented rate, our graduates enter the world with all the skills necessary to land influential positions all over the world. Aside from producing highly technically trained graduates, we emphasize the leadership and entrepreneurial skills necessary to compete in today’s world.

Electrical Engineering (Wireless Networks)

The Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (Wireless Networks) is a unique interdisciplinary degree program that prepares graduates for the design and improvement of future wireless networks such as the "Internet of Things." The program combines courses related to radio hardware, transmission techniques, the medium-access control layer, networking, applications and standards.

A minimum of 27 units is required for the MS in Electrical Engineering (Wireless Networks) degree

Required Courses: (15 units) CSCI 402, EE 503, EE 511, EE 535, and EE 597

Elective Courses: (12-14 units) Select courses available in areas including

• Transmission Techniques and Signal Processing
• Architectures, Protocols, and Applications
• Communication Hardware and Design

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must have a Bachelor degree earned at an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education. English language requirement: TOEFL: 90 or above, with 20 or above in each section; IELTS: 6.5 or above, with 6 or above on each band.
