专业概况

在这里学什么？ This is a joint honours course, where you study English Literature alongside Communication, Media and Culture. English Literature offers the opportunity to study an exciting range of modules, blending the study of classic texts and literary traditions with current theoretical models for understanding literature as a dynamic, global phenomenon. Our course is renowned for its inspirational teaching and research excellence. In the 2013 National Student Survey (Source: Unistats), 93 per cent of students agreed that staff had made the subject interesting. This course enables you to address the key communication, media and cultural issues in contemporary society and develops your skills as an effective communicator. It is structured around the three key themes of communication, media and culture. You can specialise in one theme or engage with all three, according to your interests and career ambitions. Oxford is a media and communications hotspot. It is home to numerous cultural institutions, has a flourishing new media industry, and is one of the world's leading centres for publishing.

为来自中国的学生设计 Qualifications equivalent to UK A-levels: Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate PLUS a recognition foundation course. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate plus Gaokao (National College Entrance Examination/National College Entrance Examination/NCEE). IELTS 6.0-7.0, with 6.0 in reading and writing, and 5.5 in listening and speaking. One year of university in China achieving at least 75% overall.
