专业概况

在这里学什么？ This is a joint honours course, where you study Education Studies alongside Sociology. In today’s fast changing world, education plays a pivotal role. Education Studies equips you with a depth of understanding about education’s role in a diverse society, both within and beyond the UK. It takes a broad, academically rigorous approach whilst giving you the opportunity to focus on key issues in education of particular interest to you. Sociology studies human social life, groups and societies. A wide-ranging subject, it analyses social relationships and social institutions, and the ways in which they shape people’s lives. Sociologists focus on many topics, ranging from global social processes to changing identities and personal relationships. Studying sociology will increase your knowledge and understanding of the social world in the 21st century. Our flexible course allows you to pursue your own areas of interest within the subject.

为来自中国的学生设计 Qualifications equivalent to UK A-levels: Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate PLUS a recognition foundation course. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate plus Gaokao (National College Entrance Examination/National College Entrance Examination/NCEE). IELTS 6.0-7.0, with 6.0 in reading and writing, and 5.5 in listening and speaking. One year of university in China achieving at least 75% overall.
