This course is accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). This means you can qualify as a solicitor in England and Wales without sitting separate Solicitors Qualifying Examinations. Work in York St John Law Clinic to develop transferable legal skills and experience legal practice. You can even develop your advocacy skills in our mock court room.

We will help you connect the technical aspects of legal practice with the realities of clients' cases. This will include considering how evidential, financial, practical and personal issues can impact upon a case.

While studying with us you will gain work experience at York St John Law Clinic. This is a service open to individuals and small businesses who cannot afford legal advice and assistance. Working with people who have genuine legal problems will help you develop empathy and important practical and interpersonal skills. This will enhance your performance as a Solicitor.
