Course overview

Our Education MA is a flexible programme taught in the evenings and on weekends. Explore the links between theory, policy and practice in education. Examine these links at local, national and global levels. You’ll study alongside individuals with interests in wide-ranging educational issues. With your peers, you’ll explore innovative approaches to teaching, learning and assessment. You'll also engage with current issues in education to develop your understanding.

Explore education form different perspectives. Learn from the library and archive professionals or those in museum education. Or, work alongside mentors, with early years teachers, playworkers of Children's Centre managers.

We offer you the opportunity to become immersed in a student-centred environment. Apply your current expertise and shape the course to complement your professional practice. Undertake research in areas of your choice and develop as an independent learner.
