The Department of French and Italian is excited to welcome you and engage with you and your future studies. The undergraduate section is committed to producing proficient, well-rounded students who understand the nuances of language expression and cultural exchange. Our program offers various concentrations without our major as well as a powerful minor that will help you diversify your employment candidacy in the future.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students should complete their high school courses strong grades in these courses. English: 4 years required; Math: 3 or 3.5 years required, 4 years recommended; Social sciences: 2 years required, 4 years recommended; Lab sciences: 2 years required, 4 years recommended; Language other than English: 2 years required, 4 years recommended; Flexible academic units: 2 years required, 4+ years recommended. English language Requirements: International undergraduate students whose total TOEFL scores are 102 (TOEFL iBT) or below (*total IELTS score of 7.0 or below) are required to take the EPT. To be exempt from EPT, students must score either on TOEFL iBT: total 103 or above, and 25 or above on both speaking & writing; or on IELTS: 7.5 or above total, and 7 or above on both speaking and writing.
