专业概况

Overview

Study advanced level health or social care management and leadership with our MSc in Management in Health and Social Care.

We focus on developing your understanding and leadership of the complex and changing health and care environment. You will gain knowledge and perspective of the wider care system that can help further your managerial career. You will learn to bring about tangible results in the delivery of care. And develop the skills you will need for leading innovation, collaboration and partnerships. You will learn to manage effectively and lead with confidence while gaining:

• strategic insight
• business acumen
• a sound understanding of operational delivery and leading systems change.

We have close links with practice areas across a diverse range of health and social care settings within the UK and through our Erasmus programme. So you will be able to explore different approaches to the delivery and management of care. And gain new insight into the global issues, challenges and opportunities within the sector.

The qualifications associated with the course will be of value in consolidating your existing leadership role and/or contributing to your career development.

Students can also exit with Pgdip/PgCert awards.
