专业概况

在这里学什么？ The course actively encourages innovation within the application of drawing and image-making techniques; celebrating individual expression, conceptual thinking and diversity within all aspects of visual storytelling. This includes the comic or cartoon strip; the graphic novel; film/TV/theatre/animation storyboarding; instructional diagrams; children's storybooks; computer games characterisation and web illustration. It is aimed at students who wish to enter the marketplace as illustrators. You will learn about the latest technology and processes, as well as developing your ability to create innovative illustrative outcomes that will help to move the industry forward. You will learn a wide variety of practical skills that are valued in the workplace, from experienced staff with commercial and professional experience. Our strong links with regional employers will further open up career opportunities for you. The course will broaden your understanding of historical, contemporary and contextual influences on illustration and how this affects current practice.

为来自中国的学生设计 Qualifications equivalent to UK A-levels: Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate PLUS a recognition foundation course. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate plus Gaokao (National College Entrance Examination/National College Entrance Examination/NCEE). IELTS 6.0-7.0, with 6.0 in reading and writing, and 5.5 in listening and speaking. One year of university in China achieving at least 75% overall.
