在这里学什么？ Our finance pathway allows you to shape your studies towards your career ambitions and build your knowledge of business and finance practices within a wide range of industries. Our teaching is informed by latest research in the area and we take advantage of our university’s location in London, the financial hub, where the access to policy makers and regulators becomes easier.**Why study BA Business Management (Finance) at Middlesex University?**Tailored towards ambitious students who are keen to apply theory to practice in a business environment, you will learn how organisations operate from developing strategy to styles of management. Supported by academics who bring professional expertise to their teaching practices, you will study the key functions that underpin business success and select from a range of exciting work placement options.The programme focuses on areas that emphasis both theoretical and practical applications of finance, corporate governance, strategic management and financial statement analysis, to name a few, through interactive workshops, simulations and case studies, while we keep student employability at the centre of their learning experience.Building on your analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills you will develop the confidence to solve challenges successfully, in a fast-paced corporate world. In your final year you will focus on the core financial disciplines that underpin effective business management and develop your knowledge of management strategy, business finance and financial statement analysis.Work placements are an invaluable opportunity to gain employability skills so we have introduced two options by which you can integrate into your time at Middlesex. Those who wish to do a placement can take either a 36 week sandwich placement in Year 3 as part of a 4 year degree or two 18 week summer placements allowing you to complete your degree within 3 years.The career options are broad with our Business Management (Finance) pathway and you will be well prepared to enter banking and finance, or a wide range of businesses, governmental and third sector organisations.**Course highlights**We offer a one year study abroad option in your second year by joining the EU Erasmus programmelinked to partner universities in Europe which can also include a contribution towards your tuition feesOur Enterprise Development Hub can support you to start your own business and develop the essential entrepreneurial skills for a successful careerYou will have access to cutting-edge business resources including the Chartered Management Institute's Management Direct Resource HubYou can become a student member of the Chartered Management Institute and a full member upon graduationAs a student of this course you'll receive a free electronic textbook for every module,In addition, you also get Bloomberg and DataStream certificates (upon successful completion of training) without any additional cost
