在这里学什么? Course overviewMA Global Collaborative Design Practice uses project-based methods and contexts to interpret global United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) from different local standpoints.
The UN SDGs are a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice.
The course is co-designed and co-hosted by Camberwell College of Arts in London, UK and Kyoto Institute of Technology (KIT) in Kyoto, Japan. Students interact between the 2 cities throughout the programme and receive 2 Master's Degrees upon graduation. Applicants are welcome from all design disciplines and from fields and roles that overlap with design.The design process is used as a common language to bring together, test, communicate and implement ideas. By working in cross-cultural, multidisciplinary teams the course helps you develop the sensibility and tools for international design practice.
Assessment methodsThis course is assessed through: Crits; Design portfolios; Dialogue-based summative assessment; One-to-one and group tutorials; Peer assessment across 2 universities; Presentations; Professional practitioner testimony; Reports; Staff assessment supported by partner institution staff; Subject stakeholder testimony; Symposium.
