What to expect from us

Our ultimate aim is to prepare you for a management career whether or not you have academic and/or industry experience. We offer an opportunity to enhance your professional competence with the knowledge, technical capacity and skills demanded in senior management positions dealing with logistics, procurement and supply chain management issues.

Modes of instruction:

At Fontys we belief that a range of different study approaches prepare you best for the business field after graduation; workshops, lectures, group work, guest lectures, assignments, group discussions, logistic excursions and case studies.

Build the skills and competencies to help businesses manage the planning, production and delivery of their products and services. Learn how advanced operations management, modern and sustainable supply chains, and the flow of information therein have become the bedrock of competitive advantage in an ever-changing global business environment. Become a confident professional in operations and supply chain management and make a decisive step towards securing a very exciting career.

The study is divided into 3 Terms of 60 credits each;

Term 1; September - December in Venlo, The Netherlands

3 Modules (20 credits per module): • MAR700 Supply Chains and Production Control Systems • MAR701V Research Skills and economics for International Supply Chains • MAR702V Maritime Finance and Business Modelling

Term 2; January - May in Plymouth, U.K.

3 Modules (20 credits per module):

MAR707 International Supply Chain Systems STO704 Operations and Project Management STO706 Operations Management for Competitive Advantage

Term 3; May - September, location can be everywhere

• MAR710 Research project (60 credits)
