专业概况

在这里学什么？

This course is designed to allow experienced supply chain professionals (as evidenced by MCIPS status) to “top-up” their existing qualifications and experience to a Masters Degree by completing two taught modules and an independent dissertation project.

The focus of this course is the development of advanced analytical and communication skills that allow graduates to critically engage with theory at the leading edge and apply it to their practice. Whether you choose to study the course at our Newport City campus or online, both modes are designed to fit around your existing work commitments. As this is a fast-track course, it can be completed in 12-18 months.

We intend to deliver our courses in a blended format; with a proportion of the teaching and learning being delivered digitally, and where it is safe to do so, some teaching and learning being delivered in person and using social distancing and/or mitigating measures as deemed appropriate in line with government guidance.

Careers

The course is aimed at experienced procurement and supply chain professionals who are likely to be in full time positions.

Possible career options for this course would be along the lines of: Head of Procurement, Procurement Manager and Supply Chain Director.

Our Careers and Employability Service

As a USW student, you will have access to advice from the Careers and Employability Service throughout your studies and after you graduate.

This includes: one-to-one appointments from faculty based Career Advisers, in person, over the phone or even on Skype and through email via the "Ask a Question" service. We also have extensive online resources for help with considering your career options and presenting yourself well to employers. Resources include psychometric tests, career assessments, a CV builder, interview simulator and application help. Our employer database has over 2,000 registered employers targeting USW students, you can receive weekly email alerts for jobs.

Our Careers service has dedicated teams: A central work experience team to help you find relevant placements; an employability development team which includes an employability programme called Grad Edge; and an Enterprise team focused on new business ideas and entrepreneurship.

为来自中国的学生设计 Holders of a good Honours Bachelor degree will be considered for postgraduate Masters degree courses. Applicants with a Masters degree will be considered for entry to Ph.D. studies. IELTS with an average overall score of 6.0 for postgraduate study with at least a 5.5 in each component.
