儿童英语学习睡前故事分享——《Who is the King》
适读年龄：7-10岁
Mo is in Savannia.
Mo在热带大草原。
He wants to meet King Scissors- the king of the animals.
他想见一见动物之王——Scissors。
Mo sees a giraffe and a lemur.
走着走着，他看到一只长颈鹿和一只狸猫。
“Are you King Scissors?” he asks the giraffe.
“请问你是动物之王Scissors吗？”他问长颈鹿。
“No he’s not,” says the lemur. “I’m the king.”
“不，他不是。”狸猫说，“我才是动物之王。”
“Kings are tall, like this giraffe.” Says Mo.
“等等，动物之王不应该很高大威猛吗？就像长颈鹿一样。”Mo说。
“You’re too short!”
“然而你长得太小只了！”
The lemur gets angry.
听Mo说完，这只狸猫变得十分生气。
“I’m taller than all the other lemurs!”
“我可比任意一只狸猫都要高大威猛呢！”
Mo sees a zebra. “Are you the king?”
但Mo忽视了他，这时他看到了一只斑马，问斑马：“请问你是动物之王吗？”
“Listen!” shouts the lemur.
“听着！”这只狸猫大喊。
“I’m King Scissors!”
“我才是动物之王，动物之王！”
“Kings are handsome, like this zebra- your stripes are too thin,” says Mo.
“动物之王往往都长得什么英俊，就像这位斑马先生——然而你的条纹太细了，一点都不好看。”Mo说。
“My stripes are perfect!” shouts the lemur.
“我的条纹可是最完美的！”这只狸猫咆哮着说。
Mo sees a lion: “Aha, King Scissors!”
这时，Mo看见了一只狮子：“他肯定就是动物之王Scissors了！”
“I’m the king!” shouts the lemur.
“我才是动物之王！！！！”这只狸猫已经忍无可忍了！
“Kings are scary, like this lion,” laughs Mo.
“动物之王应该就是长得很吓人，就像这位狮子先生，”Mo笑着说。
The lemur says, “ I can be scary. Watch this!”
这只狸猫说：“我也能变得什么恐怖吓人。看这个！”
“Lion- get him!” screams the lemur.
“狮子！抓住他！”这只狸猫惊叫着说。
The lion listens to his king and roars at Mo.
这狮子听了他国王的命令，咆哮着跑向Mo——抓住他！
Mo runs away quicker than a cheetah!
吼吼！你绝对想不到，Mo跑得比猎豹还要快！
